On Tuesday morning, Suzanne Bancale's husband, Mark, woke her up a little earlier than usual.

"There's something you need to see," Mark told his wife, pointing her to the expansive backyard of the family's home off Mullan Road.

As the couple's five children gathered, Suzanne looked out the window, and saw that the acre-plus of grass had been freshly mowed while she was working Monday night.

"Look closer, Mom," prodded her eldest son, Justin.

That's when she saw a message, carved lightly into the grass by the wide blade of the family's riding lawnmower: "Happy Mother's Day."

"It was just so sweet," beamed Suzanne on Friday, sitting in the family's dining room, her arm draped around the 12-year-old sculptor of the message in the grass.

"It's just another example of how, if you don't find Justin a project, he'll find one for himself."

She can say that again. After all, if it weren't for Justin, the family might not have a working lawnmower at all right now.

what do you hook up a car amplifier if you dont have a wire for a power antenna? What can you hook the power ?

What you hook up a car if you dont have a cable for transmission or that you can hook up to power remote AMP will only light up when your stereo or not.
You can hook wire into fusebox. Just make sure you hook it up to those "Keyed" What I mean by that is keyed to specific key .. ususally when a slot in the fusebox at IGN keyed. Other than those AMP. in all your time and place strain on your battery.

Car Amplifier remote line question?

I have a 95' Lincoln Mark VIII, Is it safe to hook the remote line to the power antenna? I am using the factory head unit until I can get another one.
No. The amp will only come on when you have the radio on.

Run a fused (1 amp, 14 AWG) wire from a fuse in the fuse panel that only has power when the car is ON to one side of a switch. From the other side of the switch run the same sized wire to the REM (remote) connection on the amp.

This allows for full control and you never have to worry about forgetting to turn off the amp. The switch is so you can turn off the amp at will so as not to give grandma a heart attack in the car.

You can find fuse taps and in-line fuse holders at any autoparts store.

I have NEVER seen such a "full of crap" answer such as yours.
  • yes as long as it reads 12v when a tape/cd is played. otherwise hook it the 12v source that turns on and off with the key(ignition wire).

    - ya you should do all that extra work when you already have a switched power source at the radio that you already have taken out... good advice sparky!
