Great value! Not a prepoderance of bass but good for those starting out. worked fine, no problems with the amp overheating. The remote turn on wire was garbage but substituted speaker wire for it and it worked great. Not bad for 150 bucks.

With these subs you definitely get your moneys worth. There nice and cheap and they get the job done, not to mention they look amazing in my honda and creates some nice bass. there not the best quality but they are also not 500 dollars. The box was constructed nicely and it comes with a nice amp(1200 watts).

Do they still make car audio amps that you dont have to directly hook to your car battery?

When i had my 74 Nova i had a few amps that i wired directly to the fuse box. The only ones i see today for sale have to go thru the firewall and get connected to the car battery. I rather order it online then buying them at a flea market where ive seen them new but i rather not purchase it that way. Thanks for any leads...

The amps may be a small line to pull the fuse box because the low amperage. 10-15 hearing on the production of energy is very small AMP / equalizers. No comparison. Go with the JBL's.
Why?...Targa and Starsound are both cheap generic brands. JBL has been in the Pro audio business for decades and know what they're doing and are built with quality standards in mind.
