| No Sound From The Left Side Of Clarion Car Cd Player? I just sold this CD, it worked well for me, but people who buy the guy said he did not receive sound from the left. He reviewed the balance. Please help! Can be blown out left? It sounds like he has a problem in the wiring of his car. He must try to connect the right speaker to the left of the radio. If he comes to short in the left speaker. Then he will return his call for speakers sit. I hope this helps. |
| Clarion Car Cd Player Problem? i have a Clarion BD169R car cd player , recently very hot weather and playing to loud killed it , i checked all fuses but none blown so plugged unit back in and a miricle it works again . on the back of the unit the fuse can be fitted in 2 ways as there are 3 female slots , in positiion 1 (top/middle) it says NOM on the 2nd (middle/bottom) it says VW , have left it in NOM at the moment but it came out of a leyland DAF and i have put it into a mark3 golf , should the fuse be set in the VW positon ? or am i just putting 2&2 together and coming up with 8 ? also at mo it wont hold it's memory (fuse or no memory wire ) ? it was a straight plug into origanal VW wiring .... thank you Thor well bit the bullet and changed the fuse to vw position , and i now have memory and the system sounds louder and bassier !!! so guessing it was using the memory wire for main power and VW stands for Volks Wagon shame they didn't put that on the instruction manual !!! thanks Jason C If I was you I would trace the wires from the cd player to the multi pin connector from the car. Make sure that the white wire is connected for both the car to the cd player. The white wire is the constant power supply from the car battery for the memory on the cd player. Try changing the fuse to the VW position and see if it works, I don't think it will make a difference but give it a try. Last but not least, most modern CD players need a good supply of cool air to keep them going. Unfrotrunalty the golf has poor air flow behind the dash as it can cause the CD player to shut down. I have an in car DVD player and in the recent hot weather my DVD also shut down, turned it off for 5mins and then turned it back on. Ja. |
