My husband is obsessed with listening to his ipod on his daily one-hour commute, so when his $50+ FM transmitter/car charger broke, he was not a happy camper. We searched in all kinds of stores, but could not find a reasonably-priced FM transmitter/car charger anywhere. Then I started searching online, and that's where I found this fantastic product. I'll admit I was concerned. Usually when a product is priced so far under value, you have to question its quality. I'm glad I took my chances though. Not only does this FM transmitter/car charger work beautifully (as long as you have it set to the right station), it exceeded our expectations. We were beyond pleased with the LCD screen display, the holder for the ipod, and the remote control. In addition to receiving such excellent quality, the delivery was incredibly fast and the product arrived much sooner than the expected shipping date that was indicated. I would highly recommend this product...

What stands out of this item is the quality of the fm transmitter part. The remote control is a plus that perhaps most people won't even use since you have the iphone handy. I have found that the unit is fairly firm from the lighter connector but I don't like the iphone holder section at all. It's hard to adjust it to the phone so it doesn't slip. There are perhaps other models similar to this item that may be better.

This transmitter works pretty well. Except it wont charge my iPhone 4 and play music at the same time (It will either just charge it, or just play music) It will for my husbands iPod though. And the remote is pretty useless. Other than those two things, this works just like it says it will and the price is cheap enough.

My iPhone won't play music through my car speakers anymore
Aug 03, 2008 by TJI've had my first gen iphone since the spring. I had been using an fm car adaptor (a cheap walmart adaptor I had used with my ipod) to play music through my car speakers with no problems. Then the other day, no more music. Music will come through the iphone but not the car speakers. The adaptor still works as a charger, however. I bought a belkin adaptor yesterday but still no luck. I know other people are having problems playing music through their car speakers but like I said I had been doing so trouble free for months prior. Any thoughts?
sounds like your car might be broked. try replacing the car unit for a better model. if this doesn't work dissolve your iphone in nitric acid and see if that helps the situation at all. if all else fails try not listening to music or hard reset yourself.
