Repurpose Computer Speakers For Better Audio On The Road
May 23, 2011 |
The speakers that come with your car are generally pretty awful unless you shell out some cash for a better set. Additionally, not all cars come with an auxiliary input for plugging in your smartphone or MP3 player. If upgrading is not an option, or you just don’t want to spend the money, here’s a fairly simple DIY project that can bring better audio to your car. You might be asking yourself why you’d bother doing this, and the answer lies in your particular situation. The most broad reason would be that you just want better audio, have some decent computer speakers lying around, and don’t want to pay for an upgrade. You may also not have an auxiliary input in your car, don’t have a tape deck for a tape deck adaptor, and find the FM transmitters to be overpriced and useless. You may also be in a situation where you’d love to pay for an actual upgrade but you’re leasing your vehicle and can’t perform any permanent modifications. If you fall into one of these categories, this is your solution. Read more »

How to get best sound from In-Car Mp3 FM Transmitter?
Jun 18, 2009 by Chris
Hey, I have a car mp3 player (send FM) that I recently purchased from Amazon and I suspect that I will achieve the best sound from my products I want to be the truth and to adjust. Thank you.
PS i shop at this one _------->>>> http://www.amazon.co.
There's really not a good way to get the best sound from it...You'll have to set it for a FM frequency where there's not a FM radio station already broadcasting there so you will not get interference. Other than that, the sound quality will only be as good as you FM radio. Since it's coming through the FM radio frequency to begin with.

It probably uses about as much current as two cell phone chargers at once. Of course, that should not be a real consideration as long as the engine is running. When your engine is running, it is powered by your alternator, not your battery.
