18 CAR BREAK-INS REPORTED IN RUMSON

The burglaries occurred on the east side of town, on Blackpoint Horseshoe Road, Pond Road and Evergreen Drive, Tobias said.

He said the borough has “experienced numerous car break-ins in recent weeks,” and the latest round has put police on elevated alert. The department is expected to take increased measures in trying to track down the suspect(s), including increasing patrols in targeted areas, he said.

Officers have also maintained contact with Monmouth County detectives to solve the torrent of break-ins over the course of three months in Red Bank, Fair Haven, Shrewsbury, Little Silver and Rumson.

Police urge residents to lock their cars and remove any valuables.

Anyone with tips or witnesses suspicious activity are asked to call Rumson Detective Chris Isherwood, who is the lead investigator, at 732.842.0500

I'm looking to put some new 6X9 Car speakers in my car, but I like loud 6X9 Car speakers that give a crisp sound to it when hooked to an amp. I have a 02 Impala LS, if that helps....

Good quality 6X9's...
sparky is right it is all preference, but in general if you want a good system component speakers sound much better and handle more power, i would look into that as apposed to a coax style speaker. also if you like it loud and are looking to get the most volume possible, then look at speakers with a high efficiency, greater than 90 for sure, the sample below is 91.5db.

alos consider a bit of a custom install with a 7 or 8" round component set, they will give better bass and more accurate sound, and in most case can be adapted to a 6x9 opening, and will handle even more power than a standard 6x9.
