How To Photograph Fireworks
Feb 05, 5512 | Fourth of July fireworks are a great spectator event, but what if you want to capture some images of the fireworks for you to look at later? It may seem a bit daunting, but there are ways to get photos that'll have you feeling like you can still hear the booms.
1. Camera: The more manual control that you have of the camera, the better. That doesn't mean that people with simpler point-n-shoot cameras need to leave them at home -- you're just going to have to know your camera well enough to change some settings.
Ideally, depending on your distance from the fireworks, you'll want a medium telephoto to wide angle lens.
If you can manually set focus and exposure times, you'll be in good shape. If you can't manually focus the camera, see if the camera has an "infinity" focus setting.
2. Tripod: A tripod will be crucial. Don't think that having an image stabilizer will let you handhold your shots--odds are it won't.
Don't have a tripod? Get a

Jun 26, 2011 | In many parts of the country, deer and other large wild and domestic animals pose a great danger to themselves and to vehicle occupants traveling through their habitat. As part of Volvo’s quest to keep anyone from suffering a serious injury while riding in a new Volvo, engineers have developed a new way to help prevent animal/vehicle collisions by adapting technologies created for pedestrian detection with a full auto brake system, introduced in 2010. Is it possible to install remote start on a manual transmission truck??
Oct 22, 2006 by Da Austrian Oak
I have a '95
Ford Ranger. It's getting colder by the day. It made me wonder if I could get
remote start on my truck even though it's manual. Some of you many think this is a dumb question, since how would you
start the car without pushing down on the clutch, but my dad has cruise control on his Toyota Celica GT and I have no idea how it works since he also has stick. But, I don't want cruise control anyway. I was just making a point there.
If so, how much does it usually cost and can I do it myself or is it really complex?
And what is an engine warmer?I guess that is a choice for my purposes but I do not know what or how or how much it costs the most important.
Yes it can be installed.
There is a ziebart store near me that installs them and can put remote lock/unlock of car already has power door locks. A friend had one put on his truck with a diesel engine so he could start it from the door of the factory where we work. He would go over to the door about five minutes before time to punch out and by the time he got in it at least had started to warm up.
It had a manual trans and the answer is there is a sensor that detects if the transmission is in gear. So if you leave it in gear the starter will not engage when you hit the button.
Can not tell you about the price could be the main site with information.
remote start on a manual transmission camaro?
Jan 19, 2007 by kenny_nobody
97 camaro rs, manual transmission, can i put a remote starter on it?
Yes you can, you just need to bypass the clutch switch( the switch is similar to the brake light switch) very easy to do. But a lot of shop say No not because it can't be done it is very dangerous. Once install, if you accidently leave the in gear (first) and star the car by remote it will jump forward. that will cause damage to your car and might hurt other people. THis is the main reason most shop say No.
